Approaches to Embodied Islam

A multidisciplinary series of artworks, interventions and writings, to honour the body in and of Islam.

Works so far have included workshops, immersive sound experiences, guided visualisation, performance and poetic interpretation of the Qur’an, with Tate Britain/Live Art Development Agency (London), Berlin Art Week/Zona Dynamic, ]performance s p a c e [/ Diverse Actions/LADA, Emergency Exit Arts , Live Art Bistro, S’ALA Artists Studio Space/Sardinia, St Ethelburga’s Centre for Peace and Reconciliation/London and Fusion Festival Berlin.
